The Northern Route covers the northern atolls of the Maldives —North Malé, North Ari, Rasdhoo, South Ari, and Baa— linking some of the most renowned spots in the archipelago on a ten-night journey aboard the Serenity. The diving experience combines hard and soft coral reefs, walls, and channels with strong currents, often exceeding 18 meters and requiring comfort in sometimes strong and unpredictable waters. The marine life is diverse: turtles, abundant macro species, manta rays, gray reef sharks, and, in South Ari, the possibility of whale sharks. Cleaning stations in North Malé and Baa allow for close encounters with mantas without disturbing them, while snorkeling with these animals is possible in the Hanifaru lagoon during favorable seasons. All dives are carried out from a dhoni, ensuring precise entries and exits. This versatile itinerary suits different proficiency levels, although advanced experience is recommended to fully enjoy it.
